Your Honest Friend is a book on the borderline between popular psychological literature and personal self-reflective essay. It is based on the concept of optimistic nihilism. That is, accepting that life may not have an objective meaning, and yet it can be fulfilling and free.
The text is written for the general public, but can also serve as supplementary material in psychotherapy or counseling, primarily as a stimulus for reflection and conversation.
The project aims to connect the language of the ordinary reader with expert psychological knowledge. The book does not substitute therapy, but can complement it. It opens questions that can be further developed in therapeutic conversation or group work.
If you are interested in collaboration, consultation or testing, please contact me. I will appreciate any feedback and joint search for ways to bring the book closer to people who may truly need it.
This project is not commercial, so I am not offering any upfront compensation. In the case of very time-consuming serious collaboration, we can agree on a share of the book's sales.
Write to me here or on Instagram and we'll arrange to meet for coffee.
You will be involved in a panel of other experts and together we will prepare a real tool.
